MY ATTEMPT AT PHOTOGRAPHY!

JUST A FEW PICS I TOOK! (BRACE YOURSELVES THEY ARE PROBABLY REALLY BAD)

 

Yesterday afternoon I was sitting in my room working on a project for Multimedia and I took these photos on my phone. I know they aren't the best, but I like them.

SOOOOO COOL PEOPLE I'M BACK. And no this is not about Christmas or New Years, but I will eventually post something!! BUT, in my last post I had answered one of the questions about "How do you start an conversation with someone you've never met before?" and I had replied Hi, My name is Sarah (Insert weird question that makes you look like an idiot) and I thought I would share the story of when I did in fact ask a question that made me look like an idiot.

FLASHBACK TO 4 YEARS AGO

6th Grade Orientation

 

Now I had just moved to where I live now in 6th grade and I was excited yet scared to enter middle school. When I went inside the auditorium I went to my homeroom number and ended up sitting next to a girl. Now me being overly desperate/friendly and INDIAN. Asked her if she was Indian because (not to be racist) she was brown. (Notice how I didn't even introduce myself.) And the funniest part is that she was not... *FACEPALM* *NICE ONE SARAH*. BUTTTTT This story does have a happy ending because this person (who we will refer to as Macaroni) is now one of my BESTIEST FRIENDS EVEAH! She's even in my English class this year, WHICH IS AMAZING, and I will soon be in her lunch, WHICH IS EVEN AWESOMER. SO YEAH.... Just a little funny story, Idk if you guys will find it funny, I guess you just had to be there. I just thought I would share it. Hope you are having a wonderful evening/night/morning/afternoon WHATEVER IT IS LET IT BE GREAT!!!!

1. Have a night out or an evening in?

Definitely a evening in. Idk why I just like the idea of sitting my comfy bed with my laptop and have internet time. LOL I'm so antisocial.  

2. What is your favorite memory?

Well this is going to be long but its AWESOME! So I go to this Tamil (my native language) Church on Saturday and a couple of years ago, it was about the same time of year and we had just ended and it was lightly snowing. All the parents were cleaning the cars. It was really dark because we end around 8 and the only light was the light post in the parking lot and all the kids were playing under the light post and it was like a scene from a movie. It was so much fun just playing in the snow. It's like forgetting all the cares in the world and just twirling in the falling snow under a lamp post. :)

3. What does your perfect day look like?

Well I have many ideas of perfect days, but right now a perfect day would be a snow day, no school, no work, just me sitting in my bed with my laptop watching the snow falling in my neighborhood. (SO ANTISOCIAL ITS SAD)

4. If you could go back in time, what year would you travel to?

Now I have never thought about going back in time. I think I would either go back to 6th grade or when I was really little so I could see little baby me.

5.What would you like to eat for your last meal?

WELL THEN.... IDK? I really don't know. That's why (this is going to sound weird) I like the idea that we will never know what day is our last, that's why you have to seize that day and make it big because it might be your last. So every meal I eat I like to savor it (especially CHOCOLATE) because it might just be my last. WOW THAT GOT DEEP LIKE THE MARIANA TRENCH! LOL

6.What has been your best moment of this year (so far)?

Well I'm 8 days in the year and I guess the best moment so far was the 2 hour delays I have had for the past two days. It's so nice to be able to sleep in, even if it's only a couple of hours.

7.Worst gift you have ever received?

It's funny that you asked this because we had to write a prompt on this the first day we got back (which was Monday) and I had to make mine up because I couldn't think of one. And I still can't think of one. So I will just the use the made up one... expired chocolates. LOL

9.If you were given a day without any of you everyday responsibilities, what would you do with that day?

Well.... I feel like school is probably one of my only daily responsibilities, and it causes the rest like homework and such. I would probably sit on YouTube the whole day, or I would go to school but just hang out with friends instead of go to class.

 

10.Describe yourself in 3 words.

I was thinking long and hard about this question, and I thought it would be fun if you (the reader) would comment 3 words to describe ME!

 

11.What's a skill you would like to learn and why?

I would like to learn many skills/things. I would like to learn how to play the bass, because the bass is a pretty cool instrument. I would like to learn how to edit photos and make them look cool like this:

I would also like to learn... Ummm I think that's it. Ohh I want to edit pictures because I think they are super cool and I want to be able to make my own.

 

12.Describe the perfect pizza.

Well, it's pretty simple, I LOVE pineapple on pizza, so it would a pizza with pineapple, cheese, and chicken, a lot like the pizza I just had. I'm not a very picky person and I don't really know if NUTELLA would taste good on pizza.

 

13.What question do you hate to answer?

Those questions, that your teacher calls on a random person to answer and I always get the hardest question and it's so annoying.

MERRY BELATED CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY BELATED NEW YEARS!!!!!

NEW YORK December 26th

 

I'm extremely sorry. It's January 3rd and I still haven't posted about New Years let alone Christmas. UGHHH I suck. I do have an excuse, and I must admit it's not a bad one. I had family over. That's that. My uncle, aunt and their little son were over and so was my cousin who is going to college near where we live. All I can say was that I was very blessed this holiday season. We went to New York, the day after Christmas (26th) and MAN it was cold. I was not expecting it and just wore a sweatshirt, but I was still comfy in my hoodie.

 

I didn't do much for New Years. Our family would usually go to our church for an all night prayer service, but my little cousin is only 2 and wouldn't be able to sit through that. So we just stayed at home and ended up praying as a family, which was very blessed. Blessed is not the word I was looking for, but it's the best that I could come up with.  We ended up praying until 12, so it was like a New Years party but not really.

 

I'm going to do other posts on like what I got for Christmas and like looking back on 2014, so keep on checking for those, but I think that's it for this post. :)

CHRISTMAS DECOR!!

KK! This is the DIY POST!!! YAYA!!!!! There are a few of these that in fact not really DIYs but they are decorations right? Right. KK #1

Okay. This is an actual DIY! I had this old cup with wait for it.... Jake and The Neverland Pirates on it. YUP! One of my dad's friends gave it to me and my brother and we never used it. SOOOO I painted it a dark blue and then I took a small paint brush and white paint and painted 'snowflakes' on it. LOL they seriously don't look like snowflakes. Anywho... I added some pens and pencils that were kind of blue and matched the cup or reminded me of winter, but the didn't stick out from the top. SOOO to solve that I added cotton balls inside(I should have taken more pictures I KNOW I SUCK I GET IT) to represent snow inside. I think its really cute and if your cup is better then you could give it as a gift. ON TO DIY #2!

This one doesn't count much as a DIY but it kind of is. So I had these frames lying around from IKEA that my mom never used so I asked her if I could use them and she said yes. So I found some pictures from online that I really liked and used them. The one in the middle I found by just looking up 'christmas pics tumblr' and it was one of the few I really liked. The ones with the presents were found here. Zoe is one of my favorite Youtubers so I looked on her blog first to find some festive photos. So I some of my favorites and I printed them out and put them in the frames and arranged them in a way I really liked. I also added the candle in the second image. I had that candle from last year and I never used it, but now I've been using it so much! I might even light it now. *Gets up and goes lights the candle though its the middle of the day and pretty bright out*. I did the same diy on my desk. 

I realize now that I suck at taking good pictures but this framed photo is my favorite. I will just put the picture down below.

I also added a small box that I had gotten a few years ago from I think Wal-Mart. 

THAT'S IT!!! Well I have a few more decorations up now but I will put that up in another post because I don't have pictures of them. LOL! I think I might take my video camera and take pictures on that maybe it will be better. WELL THAT'S IT FOR NOW!!

MERRY DECEMBER!!!

SEE WHAT I DID THERE!! "MERRY DECEMBER". LOL PUNS. I'm so not funny. I literally have nothing to say. Thanksgiving was amazing. So  much fun with my buddies and then Black Friday was interesting. I think I'm going to do a post on that when I take the pictures. I also  have some Christmas 'DIYS'. Diys in quotes because they are kind of diys and kind of not so yeah. UMMMMMM.... That's really it. I have no school today! YIPPEE!!! I've just sat here listening to the 'Today's Christmas' radio on Pandora. I'm in a really christmassy mood. (Is that a word?) ANYWHOOO??? This is my absolute favorite time of year and I will hopefully (FINGER-CROSSED) blog more. I really want to blog more. I love sharing my 'RANDOM THOUGHTS" GET IT???? LOL I'm really not funny. Well I have some Christmassy pictures that I want to post. I'm really sad though because all the snow is melting. :(
